Today was an athletic day. We did participate at the Slow Up. There the road is closed for 7 hours for all motorized vehicles. It is a Round Lake. The weather was nice but a bit windy. The children were very proud of their achievement. They drove about 25 km. I had also a lot of fun but my muscles register now ;-) http://www.slowup-murtensee.ch/cms21/showlinx.asp?id=70&lang=2 today there were not so many people so it was ok for the kids. Otherwise it is sometimes little bit dangerous.

We are happy that spring is starting. For the first time we could do a bike trip with both children. It was really great. All had fun and were proud of their achievement. At the end of the exercise we had ice cream!

Today we were in a dinosaur park. The children had a lot of fun. Because of the thawing the ground had become soggy. It was very dirty. Today I was so glad to have a washing machine.
The dinosaurs were in nature size. This was very impressive.
Now we have holidays for one week.

we have little bit snow. so there are some winter activities.

We had a nice Christmas time. The kids were a little excited but full of joy. We had a quiet New Year's celebration with a lot of fun. Now I'm curious what will bring us the new year.

At the end of the old year we had a great meeting with friends from America. Her son and Karuna have spent together the first 3 years in the orphanage.

Autumn has begun and it is measurably cooler. What does not discourage us to continue to grill outside. The kids love it. I prefer the summer time :-)
We look forward to the Christmas season. The children created handicrafts to offer to the godparents. It looks very nice and they were proud about their work.
